Seriously, I’ve reached the point where I have to change the channel whenever they come on...

I respond to them in the break room.

“...a pickup truck slams into your brand new car...”

“Aww man, I HATE it when that happens!”

I watch GSN a lot at work (family feud for the win), so I see this commercial a lot. Or commercials whose main target is the elderly, or the gullible.

My new favorite annoying commercial is the tv advertisement for the nozzle for your hose, the one that’s as ‘good’ as a fireman's nozzle. Their quote, not mine. Yeah, the nozzle might be good, but they are completely ignoring water pressure here. Not to mention I have no use for a nozzle that will spray bricks off my patio....unless I'm defending my house home alone style. Which happens only in winter months, so I'm good for now. :).

GSN at work is great! The Feud is popular, but we get into Chain Reaction, Catch 21, and Lingo like crazy. We’d happily be rid of Deal or No Deal in favor of just about anything else, even old Wheel or Jeopardy.

People still watch commercials? I thought everybody at least used a DVR these days. Honestly I couldn't tell you what was a frequent ad these days.

This ad is trying to make you relate to the un-relatable.

I mean, isn’t a pickup truck crashing into your truck just another thing that’s such a damn pesky problem as you #findyourway like those diverse Liberty Mutual millennials in everyday life?

I mean, for Christ’s sake!

I’m at my parents place for the next week and they just got Fios. So all my scheduled Comcast recordings don’t exist and I’m too lazy to relearn channels for a week.

FF comes on at 12 noon, so exactly when I take my break.

Deal or no deal should be retitled “how people recklessly gamble money on a whimsical hunch”, seriously. I see the last 5 or 10 minutes of it and am amazed how easily people gamble on the next briefcase. I saw someone was offered $255k, they wanted it all, so they kept going. They left with $50!

Chain reaction is pretty good, not sure why it's boys versus girls though.

I’m on a rotating schedule, so my breaks start anywhere between noon and four. Starting between noon and two is best because it’s either FF, C21, or Chain Reaction (which they’re making new versions of, yay!).

Chain Reaction isn’t always a battle of the sexes - just as FF isn’t always a battle of skin color - but it frequently is. I hope they correct that in the new version. My favorite CR episodes tend to be the students versus teachers, as there is a mix of older and newer links so neither team has a distinct advantage, and, being aged between most of the teachers and students, I get most of the references.
